A brief review of the arguments for and against the intended canal from Cambridge to the River Stort, as produced at Chesterford on the 5th of September, 1788: most respectfully addressed to Richard Clark, Esquire, Alderman of the City of London, and Chairman of the said meeting, with a few hints in favour of the canal by Y.Z. The canal would have crossed in front of Audley End House, perhaps the reason it was abandoned.
