Village Shop – Jack Barrett’s Butcher Shop

Barrett’s butcher shop was in Carmel Street and is now Cleaver’s Cottage. He had his own abattoir round the back. The Old House was where he lived. This photo from the 1920s shows Len Denny on the left, then Jack Barrett.
