Mudlarking – Treasures from The Thames

Mudlarks were once the poor Londoners who searched the dirty, dangerous and disease ridden mud for items that they could sell. Mudlarking continues today, but now, with trowels, sieves and metal detectors, the mudlarks search the Thames foreshore for objects that give an insight into the past. Steve and Jack Engeham will give a fascinating talk about the treasures that they have found.
